Rinse the tea leaves by pouring a small amount of hot water over them and immediately discarding it. Place the rinsed leaves in the teapot, pour hot water over them, cover, and steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute for the first infusion. Increase the steeping time by 30 seconds to 1 minute for each additional round.
